Kyosho has given its standard touring car chassis a complete model makeover, evolving its performance to a new level. The redesign features a simplified structure with fewer parts, improving maintenance efficiency and reducing weight, while core strength and rigidity have been increased through new materials, ribbing, and stiffeners on the front and rear. Moreover, the symmetrical chassis design synergizes excellent front-rear balance through the suspension, providing responsive control regardless of the power source.

Equipped with a slipper clutch, front and rear gear differentials, oil shocks, and full ball bearing specifications, the chassis boasts high durability and impact resistance, allowing drivers to fully unleash its potential. The brake disc wheel hubs come with two different offsets (0mm, +5mm), ensuring compatibility with 190mm and 200mm width body styles. Additionally, the wheelbase can be adjusted to 274mm by replacing some parts (sold separately), allowing for compatibility with other 1/10 scale body styles, including the one included in the package.

The Readyset package is fully assembled and includes everything except the charger and battery for the chassis, as well as the batteries for the transmitter. The separately sold LED light unit (97054) can be attached to the front and rear light buckets, further enhancing the scaled appearance (recommended LED light units: 97054-4CR and 97054-2R-B).

The factory-assembled Readyset package requires only 4 x AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter and a battery with a charger for the chassis. Full ball bearings are equipped throughout the drive system, reducing drive loss. The KS202W waterproof steering servo and the sealed differential and transmission deliver reliable performance, even on dusty parking lot surfaces.

The touring chassis (FZ02) features a shaft drive, full-time 4WD system. It is equipped with a plated dummy brake disc and a painted brake caliper, improving the overall sense of scale. The ultra-scale body design is the result of careful consideration, with a focus on reducing the number of parts.
