The Kyosho MAD VAN model is designed with the image of an American full-size van from the 1970s and 1980s, offering a retro body style combined with a light and sporty chassis for pure R/C enjoyment. The body is metallic purple, a popular color in the United States, and features customizable decals for the front grille and a separate polycarbonate roof spoiler to enhance driving performance.

The main chassis utilizes a lightweight and highly rigid glass-reinforced 66 nylon resin bathtub design. The suspension arms are also made of 66 nylon, providing a good balance between flexibility to absorb impact and rigidity around the tires. The front and rear suspensions are equipped with 12mm diameter big bore oil dampers, ensuring stable driving by absorbing the impact from the road surface during off-road driving.

The MAD VAN features bevel gear type differential gears on the front and rear, ensuring smooth turning when cornering. The full ball bearing specifications minimize drive loss, and the model comes with a new powerful 550-size 14T brushed motor with a long can, a steel ring around the motor case, and an internal cooling fan, providing efficient torque and high speeds.

Additionally, the MAD VAN is equipped with a waterproof 60A electronic speed control, and the use of hex screws in each part allows for reliable tightening torque and easy maintenance with fewer tools. The ball connect type kingpins on the front knuckle arm up and lower allow for easy adjustment of the caster angle in three steps by moving the front upper suspension arm position back and forth with a spacer.

The shared left and right front and rear knuckle arms and suspension arms increase the compatibility of spare parts, ensuring easy maintenance and customization.
