Kyosho Tomahawk 1:10 Vintage Off-Road Racer Reproduction

The Tomahawk, a pure racing vehicle, was modified and launched based on the solid foundation of the Scorpion. Upon its release, the Tomahawk swept challengers away from Japan and around the world, creating a legend that is still remembered by many R/C racers today. In response to numerous requests from R/C fans, Kyosho is proud to add the Tomahawk as the 3rd Immortal model in the Vintage Series.

Incorporating metal parts from the 2014 Scorpion, such as the 6061T6 aluminum main frame chassis, forged suspension arms, and a 2-piece aluminum die cast gearbox with built-in diff gears, the Tomahawk will always be a pure racing machine with its characteristic Spartan double deck. However, the new Tomahawk is not simply a reproduction of the original machine. Each key component has been updated with modern R/C racing technology and power source to produce superior circuit performance.

Many will appreciate the Tomahawk's nostalgic style, but the elimination of the radio box to reduce weight and the side mounting of the battery for optimal weight distribution sharpens the edge of the Tomahawk for the pure enjoyment of true racing performance.

The Tomahawk kit is a pre-assembled model, with the gearbox and oil shocks pre-assembled. It includes a polycarbonate clear body, decals, an L-type hex wrench, a cross wrench, a shock wrench, shock oil, and grease.

To operate the Tomahawk, you will need a 2-channel, 1-servo R/C system for cars, a 540-class motor (30-27 turn recommended), an ESC compatible with the installed motor, a 7.2V Ni-MH battery for the chassis, a battery charger, paint for the polycarbonate body, batteries for the transmitter, and a set of tools (1.5, 2, 2.5mm hex wrench drivers).

The Tomahawk is a reproduction of the legendary racer that swept races throughout the 1980s. Each part has been updated to 2015 specifications, ensuring superior performance. The included decals create a vivid color scheme, and the side window mesh has been recreated with decals. The new rear body stay provides a secure mounting for the body.

The front and rear tires recreate the look of the original but with an optimized block pattern and high-grip material, further enhancing the Tomahawk's racing capabilities.
